Imagine that you have one negative thought.
Gradually, you will generate more and more negative thoughts. So, the first negative thoughts is like a newborn baby. The newborn is continually fed, and as a result it produces one negative thought after another.
When the negative thoughts reach maturity, like fruit ripened on a tree, they will overtake the garden of your life. They will make you think that what you are doing is right. Despite the mistakes you have made, you will be unable to change the situation.
The negative emotions are so powerful that you cannot correct them. Instead, you simply perpetuate the problem.
