When students have problems or difficulties. My first and best instruction is simply advise them to enter the Zen hall, whether at a Zen center or just a quiet place in your home, burn incense, make prostration, meditate and calm your mind. The solution is in the creative potential of your mind.
The “real” Zen hall is the calmness and purity of your mind. Like a pool of wisdom, it is the source from which all solutions arise. There, you will find the solace of spiritual peace. This is the ultimate place from which to judge the circumstances of daily life.
