I am occasionally asked about the nature of pain. Pain does not only occur when you are miserable, it can happen when you feel happy and energetic. Actually, the question about pain has to do with the purity of the mind. When you seek the purity of the mind, you learn about the nature of impurity. It is the impurity in your mind that causes the pain in your life. A plate can present either delicious food or foul-smelling, inedible food. Your mind works the same way. It can produce realities that are pleasant or unpleasant. This duality of opposites emerges when the mind is not pure. If the mind is completely pure, pure reality will manifest. This pure reality will bring you true happiness, peace and clarity, and you will experience joy from deep within your being.
